I just received a Raspberry pi 3 and I have images and scripts python on my drive that I have to copy so as soon as I click on a folder all hangs. I do not understand why is this a problem of the Raspberry?

No it’s not on the SD card, it’s rather on my drive so when I access my drive as soon as I click on something everything hangs
